Tamara's work has focused on the impacts of criminalizing commercial sex, victimization of those in the sex industries, and the human rights impacts of anti-trafficking legal efforts in Canada. Tamara has been working with Vancouver-based sex worker organizations for the past two decades; she has also published several peer-reviewed contributions, and teaches courses related to criminal law, human rights and civil liberties and the criminalization of commercial sex.
