Victoria Holt
PhD Student
Victoria Holt is a researcher and activist exploring sex workers' narratives of domestic violence. I am especially interested in how conceptualisations of sex work, and representations of it, shape workers' understanding of their experiences. I advocate for full decriminalisation of sex work with SWARM (Sex Worker Advocacy and Resistance Movement), and this political position informs my academic work, especially around non-carceral interventions around violence against sex workers. This is because I consider carceral and police responses to be themselves a form of violence. I blog and write at https://forgedintimacies.wordpress.com/
